There are many things you can do with the SSA online, but to do so you must first have a password. To see what you can do and how to get a password, go to http://www.ssa.gov/onlineservices/ and read that ENTIRE page. Then click on "If you have a password...," which is the fifth item listed at the top of the page. At the next window, click on the third item "Get a password request code" and follow the instructions to apply for a temporary password. In a couple of weeks you will receive a temporary password through the mail that you may use to establish a permanent password with which you may do a number of things online to include reviewing your benefit information.

If the information you gave us is correct, we're sorry but this service is not available to you.

Only people who get Social Security benefits can get a password. If you do get benefits and you got this response, try this Social Security URL:

https://s00dace.ssa.gov/pro/passregi/passserv.shtml

Hope that helps...

That's what I get for failing to read thoroughly. I thought it would allow me to access something similar to my annual report. Oh well.

Thanks for clearing that up.
