Solazyme's algae-derived jet fuel appears to be reaching a level of credibility in the commercial market since:

1) Continental is today flying a passenger jet from Houston to Chicago using a blend of Solajet and traditional petroleum-based jet fuel, and
2) United agrees to buy 20 million gallons/yr of Solajet fuel.

If Solazyme can scale to capacity to meet this amount then they will likely have turned the corner.
