A colleague whose mother lived near the Chico's plant in Florida had visited HQ and hyped the stock big when he came back to the office. I bought at about $13 in about 1994 (pre-about-6-splits), which was down from its high of about $19. I think I finally sold at about $6 in 1996. I think my investment of 1500 would be worth at least 200,000 now. This is the first time I estimated that - I'm feeling a little queazy.
