Some banks like Citibank assiciate a revolving credit line (some times called Checking Plus) of $10K or so with a checking account. All overdrawing transactions go against this credit line which charges 19% or so with no grace period. But at least it is not considered overdrawing, it provides a buffer and a peace of mind (for people who don't depend on it or use it like a credit card.) It is there on those occasions when you need it but don't even know you need it because you're busy living your life and somebody else fouled up. Yes, this is what I have. I should have been clear - my overdraw was covered by my overdraft, and the charges I want reimbursed are the finance charges.FuskieWho knows he will get it resolved but still hates the hassle...
