Some fairly important corporations in our fair state include Wal-Mart (Bentonville), Alltell (Little Rock), Baldor Electric (Ft. Smith), and Nucor-Yamato (Blytheville). Several timber/paper firms do business here as well, including International Paper (Pine Bluff), Georgia-Pacific (Dequeen), and Weyerhauser (not-a-clue). Murphy Oil is Hq'd in El Dorado.I'm not sure where Weyerhauser is based in your state, but I've visited one of their plants in Manitowoc, WI. It's one of their design facilities, so it's got all kinds of cool machines. One of the really cool machines I got to see in operation was a computer operated box cutter that used a micro-thin jet of water to cut the corrugated. They used it to make up prototype boxes for crush tests and stuff. Since all of their production boxes are stamp-cut, the designers had to use a roller to smoosh the edges of the water-cut boxes so they'd perform in the tests the same way the production boxes would. It was a lot of fun to watch.More fun trivia, :)AstridS
