Some of their advice isn’t wrong. But it is definitely stock-centric and but one of the infinity of paths there are by which to create income and wealth.

When we started this board back in 1999, there was some resistance because fixed incomes were thought to be the province of little old ladies and orphans. Everyone else was getting wealthy in the dot com boom.

Of course every form of investing can be done at numerous levels--some very sophisticated, others merely trying to collect a bit of interest somewhere. 13 Steps is a reasonable introduction. A series of more advanced articles would be nice. Articles for postings on Investing Wiki are always welcome. There they are easily updated, linked, referenced, and even available for debate and discussion.
