Has anyone heard any news about Au Bon Pain lately? I heard they are in the process of selling their manufacturing plant which will give them cash to more quickly expand St. Louis Bread and help their operating margins quite dramatically. This should make this stock much more attractive if it happens. ==========Subject: St. Louis BreadDate: Mon, Jan 19, 1998 23:52 ESTFrom: WESKATZMessage-id: <19980120045200.XAA04502@ladder01.news.aol.com>Peter Lynch says the future of Au Bon Pain is St. Louis Bread. I sent them a message yesterday expressing my concern over the rumored name change of Saint Louis Bread to "Panera Bread" (whatever "Panera" means?). I say "rumored" because I've seen no official word from the company about it, but I suspect it's true. Anyway, if you feel like me, that this is a BAD MOVE on the part of management, let them know !!-Nonlinear1
