I understand that Marketing and Sales guys (Dave Cox and Brian Nimo) are so busy that they will not be able to attend the Philadelphia conference on Monday. I did talk to CA people and I was told that there are several announcements coming within hours concerning IAI. All good and very significant staff. I am under impression that in addition to CA languages, IAI will also remidiate IDBMSCobol for CA which is another 30bil. lines of code. ========Subject: Re: SOROS & IAIC ON BLOOMBERG NEWSWIREDate: Mon, Jan 26, 1998 18:01 ESTFrom: HENRY GRMessage-id: <19980126230100.SAA01640@ladder01.news.aol.com>Tody Bloomberg reported that in the Privater Placement there were several investors "some of whoch were White Rock and Quantum Partners LDC, an investment group affiliated with George Soros".They also reported that White Rock group ownes 377,500 shares. This was reported in schedule 13D filing.==========Subject: Re: SOROS & IAIC ON BLOOMBERG NEWSWIREDate: Mon, Jan 26, 1998 12:03 ESTFrom: RikRichterMessage-id: <19980126170300.MAA12199@ladder01.news.aol.com>Soros' funds, White Rock Capital Inc. and Quantum Partners LDC bought 377,500 shares at $10.81 to $12.88 between December 17th and January 14th. I just wish that they would get thru the beta tests and announce who the beta's have been. BTW the private placement was completed at the time when the stock was very low, however if you go thru the documents you will notice that one hedge fund that is very close to George Soros ( yes thats him) i believe took over 200000 shs. This diamond isabout to be discovered, i believe there is also a very large short position that could be squeezed at any time. stay long and stay tuned
