Some thoughts.

First and foremost, it was a great summer action flick and I enjoyed it. And some have said otherwise, so I'll weigh in: I loved the ending. The way it was set up, with this being the last movie, the legacy was clearly established. I thought it was handled very well. It would have been easy or tempting to screw up, to do more, but I think they did just enough. Very happy with the ending.

But, I'm hyper critical at times, so here are my criticisms:

-Agree with someone else who commented on how Alfred was handled. Just like that? Really?
-Speaking of just disposing of characters, did anyone else think Bane needed a more thorough ending that the quick one liner that represented his death? I was very not satisfied.
-The main investor (forgot her name) that was interested in the "project", could have used more developing before the real plot kicked in. Not much, just a bit more would have done I think.
-How exactly was the batwing recovered after surviving a 4 MT blast? And, assuming it was recoverable, how did it survive the EMP such that the software could be booted and checked? I saw someone say that "there were multiple Bats" but why would Bruce update all of them when he only flew the one around?
-The police were in those tunnels for 5-6 months, yet when they climbed out, they were relatively clean and only showed a day or two of beard. Shouldn't they ALL be sporting a grizzly adams?
-There is a running debate in my workplace about "the next" batman movie. What are your thoughts? Will they pick up where this movie left off with Robyn taking up the Cape? (I voted an emphatic NO)
