Somehow, spikie--well, I can guess how ;-)--you've managed to contort the OP and miss its underlying point, all the while spewing insults.

Arguing that Obama's record of governance bears few traces of contemporary liberalism is a far cry from equating him with conservatism. There used to be a broadly respectable middle ground (or even grounds) of sorts, found in things like Rockefeller Republicanism. But apparently the very notion of an option defying the tired "either/or" dichotomy leaves you . . . well . . .

Dumbfounded!

Steve

So somehow you are equating Mr. Obama to a conservative?

I am truly speechless. Of all the amazingly ignorant things that have been and are being said by liberals, this one has for once, rendered this descendant of Robert E. Lee dumbfounded.
