Something else that might help:Get to know your hunger. When was the last time you were truly "hungry" ? I have to respond to this. (even late)I think that most Americans do not get hungry. It is a mindset and being accustomed to not being unfull...We get low blood sugar (and maybe shaky), we respond to cues that we associate with hunger, but truly hungry? I think seldom.Perhaps this is because I have, in the past, had a couplefew periods of poverty which resulted in not having anything but tap water for more than 2 weeks at a stretch.THAT is hunger.I have never had that empty-pit-of-my-stomach feeling any other time.I make an actual point to not say I am hungry - because unless it has been a few days, I don't think I really am.I say "I could go for a little something," or "I want to eat."I can honestly say that I never say I am "starving." No, no, I could go for quite a few weeks my reserves, not comfortably, but we could all do it and survive. One's body gets used to eating on a certain frequency, and when that is altered it may "feel" like hunger - but really, it isn't.peace & hungert
