I should have a week without going anywhere and not long after that I may be able to put together more than one week in a row. Fall has been crazy - mostly because of incremental travel planning. I am also in the process of trying to somewhat change the mix of my work to projects with less travel or being paid more so the travel time is more worthwhile.

I do have to say that while I would never tell my kids that I'd like them to live near me, I quite enjoy that SS and fam are close by. I am entirely smitten with my grandson.

My daughter bought my Subaru so I am also very happy to be down to one car. There may be a sports car in my future but that's a different animal and everything seems much more easy to acquire than get rid of.
