Sounds like a mix-up but I just read something on MF about how if you end up with a default rate on one card, the other card companies may jack up your rate, even if you've never been late with them. The thing I would be checking is to see if someone has opened another card in your name (aka identity theft) and never paid it. It's a longshot, but you never know these days. - Eric
