Sounds like the product of an over-zealous bookeeper at the Motherhouse level.Somebody at some level must be treating this rent payment as a business expense. As the Motherhouse is, presumably, a non-taxed entity, I'm not sure what the point is.It's not an overzealous bookkeeper. Tax-exempt entities are required to file 1099 forms where appropriate.
