Sounds very familiar. The one I used to frequent had some of those same hardy souls on seemingly 24/7. How did they have time for their school work?

Well, as mentioned before I hung around the channels for folks in their 40s. In all honesty, some of the folks weren't actually at their computers all the time. Others pretty much were. What was freaky (to me) about the ones who weren't is they were logging the chats. I got to know one of these folks and asked her about it. She said she was doing that so she could see when some people had been on causing trouble. Not just for people who might be 'nuking' others so they could report them (as if those online couldn't) but so they could be aware of anyone who was fighting. Sheesh! Talk about control freaks who need a life. ;)
