I think that is the most interesting post by you that I have read here. You don't express concern over whether or not Mondale actually told the truth. Nor do you express concern about whether the carbon tax might be objectively good for America and the world. You celebrate the fact that they "play into the stereotype" and their role in re-electing a Republican president.

That seems to perfectly match my earlier statement that the only winning platform in America today is to lie to the American people by claiming that you can cut taxes and balance the budget without explaining how and knowing that you will not balance the budget.

You seem to agree with my conclusion that it is now impossible win a presidential election by telling the truth.

The only difference is that you celebrate that fact.
