One spouse receives the larger benefit which was begun at age 62. The other spouse, entitled to a smaller full benefit, last month began to take benefits at age 62.
Question: If the larger benefit recipient dies will the surviving spouse receive the other's benefit OR will the deceased's benefit be reduced by the factors which were applied when the survving spouse took age 62 retirement?
