I did a search to see if this was covered but I couldn't find anything. Apologies if it has been discussed at length.

My situation is as follows:

- tons of room in RSP
- both myself and my spouse must repay to Home Buyer's Plan
- my income is significantly higher than my spouse
- i have a SDRSP in my name
- my wife has an RSP in her name
- i would like to contribute ~ $20,000 this year with $1300 the portion for the HBP.

My question is how should I disperse the rest. Should I be doing some or all of it into a spousal RSP.

Thanks
