Just want to throw this one in for grabs.

An idea that one of the newsletter guys professes. He's Donald H. Rowe and he states that:

A rebirth of Social Security will be in the form of an independent board of trustees to invest monies in (mostly) stock market issues, some bonds, possibly CDs.

He maintains that the politicians want to "rid themselves of what has become both a financial and a political albatross"
and that representatives from both parties have been working on a plan behind the scenes.

Does you think this could be true?
And why keep it a secret?

Just asking, trex
