SSA owes me that money, they owe it to me as a monthly benefit when i retire. That is the law in which SSA was founded. Actually, it's not. SS was founded as a welfare system for old people. It's been sold by the politicians over the years as a retirement system, but it was never funded, invested, or taxed as such. (It's pretty recently in the life of SS benefits that any portion has been subject to income tax.)<snip>no matter how you look at it, the fact is my money is in there. This is true of all taxes. When society as a whole decides that its going to do something, there are some who will pay more than they receive and some who will receive more than they pay.
