Standard & Poor's Ratings Services issued a four-notch upgrade on iStar Financial Inc.'s (SFI) junk-level ratings, after the company closed on a $2.95 billion credit facility to refinance existing facilities and repay debt.

The rating was lifted to B+, which is still four levels into junk, and removed from watch for upgrade. The outlook is stable.
