Where I lived in Houston you couldn't get an apartment for 535...cheapest around was 700 for a one bedroom and that was back in 1999.


I was paying $560/month for a 1-bedroom, 1-1/2 bath townhome in Westchase in 1999. You must have been living near the Med Center if you were paying $700.
