Stocks, in the short run, are incredibly volatile. That means their price goes up and down a lot. If you're in stocks for the short-term, it's about the same chances as gambling at the casino.

If there was a sure-fire way to make money in 2 weeks, all the banks would use that instead of lending money.

By the way...don't believe everything you read. For every person who makes $$$ trading stocks over a month, there are a LOT MORE who lose $$$ and more. Just like the casino or the lottery.
