An area I have problems dealing with admittedly is stress eating.Among other things, this week I realize is the start of some increasing stress (unavoidable, it's life). In addition to some sleeping problems and trying to psyche myself up for worst to come, I've been stress eating. And, also, drinking beer. *Note this is being written at 2:51 AM local time, and I just finished a beer and an ample bowl of leftover food.*There could be worst ways, perhaps, of dealing with stress, but I know I have a high potential of regaining a lot of the weight I've fought to keep off because of eating. During a period of severe stress in about 1996-1997, I had gained some 30+ pounds in a year. I hope I won't be this far gone this time, but... well. A major aid this time is that I have a gym to go to this time, but I know it won't completely save me. I will be dealing with a lot of anger, depression, anxiety, and stuff.I've tried to drink a lot of *decaffeinated* herbal tea to help destress (helps a little), but then I get the unavoidable stress eating urges. I drink a lot of chamomile, peppermint, and something like "sweet dreams" from celestial seasonings, or some other brand; I'm almost out of herbal tea already, though. If anyone has some ideas for more herbal teas to try, please let me know! Emphasis: must be decaf herbals.Any tips? Thank you for your comments and understanding.Thanks.
