Study Groups are NOT at all Necessary to prepare for the CFA Examinations. KCFA took CFA-I, 1978, CFA-II in 1979, and CFA-III 1980. Passed each exam, first time, without ever using a study group - just read most, not all, of the study material readings. This full-year class: http://www.UWASAP.org was all that was necessary to prepare for the Examination series.
