Stumper eh?

Not at all. You do include the distribution from a non-spousal beneficiary IRA on line 4 of Form 8880. The exclusions are generally for distributions that are involved in rollovers or recharacterizations or otherwise nontaxable.

Since you're new here, perhaps a little explanation of how this place operates will help. There isn't anyone who is responsible for answering questions. There are, however, a number of very knowledgeable practitioners who read the messages when they can and answer the ones that they know "cold". Other questions that might need some research may linger for awhile (or longer) until someone decides s/he has the time to look for an answer.

Don't expect instantaneous gratification and you won't be disappointed.
