Subs couldn't reign us in, no matter what they tried. And I was even a good student.

From what I've seen, discipline and respect in public schools haven't exactly been on the rise in the last decade, so I'm guessing Art would have even less chance of success than my teachers did...

When I subbed in Chemistry and Algebra II the kids were well behaved and did their work. These were the kids that were bound for College. When I subbed in second time around 9th grade English they were like a room full of Chimpanzees. Depends on the kids. I'm glad their are kids like the second time around 9th grade English kids - Otherwise who would put my tires on and rotate them at Sam's Club? It takes all kinds.
I have the patience of Job. The only thing I don't like is when the boys try and out Macho each other by hitting each other's knuckles or other such nonsense. Then I'm all business. - Art
