Since I am 28 and work for Uncle Sam, I put my retirement plan (TSP) monies in gov't fund (steady 5%). So, I do not need to have a bond component to my IRA so I am considering the following allocation for my Vanguard Roth (currently in MM fund):

40% 500 index (VFINX)
20% mid-cap index (VIMSX)
20% small-cap value (VISVX)
20% total international (VGTSX)

Any comments or advice. I have heard better things about Fidelity's Spartan international fund but that one is not available from Vanguard.

I am going to make this transaction once the first bomb falls in Iraq. I will also welcome comments on that...
