Is there a way that along with the Caps info, we could populate a link to the MF discussion board (the free ones) for all CAPs entries with a board active?I noticed that we have links to fool articles, but not to the boards, although you can get there through the CAPs link.Or, maybe we should simply add a sample discussion board link to the Recent Mentions on MF section, and the users who build out could simply add the appropriate link? What do you all think is the best way to handle it?
Great idea! We'll put it in the batch for the new company pages we create. We don't want to overwrite anything that's currently out there so we won't touch existing pages. For existing pages, it's pretty easy to add. Our boards software has a "finder" that locates it by ticker:http://boards.fool.com/Find.asp?ticker=nflxI'll add it to the company-page template right now.Jeremy
Actually I won't add it to the company template just yet since we're going to modify it in the future. The company page is going to look closer to something like this.http://wiki.fool.com/wiki/User:TMFMoby/Sandbox2We'll work it into that right navigation box along with some recent post and pitch feeds. That way readers can decide whether they want to discuss the stock or "pitch" it.
Is there a way that along with the Caps info, we could populate a link to the MF discussion board (the free ones) for all CAPs entries with a board active?Fabulous idea! As I understand it, Flossary is expected to (hopefully) become THE destination -- a "one-stop-shopping" kind of place -- for folks interested in getting additional info on investing. Having CAPS, boards, related articles, etc., all linked within the individual articles will make it convenient for anyone interested in using it in that manner.Best regards,Kathie
