I was in the sangha known as the 'peanut gallery' one time, where I was honored to meet Master ClaraBell III.They say this great master was found as a young child in a small village in the province of Iowa, after signs and portents were left by Master ClaraBell II on where to find his next incarnation. There was some confusion at first when the searchers found a young boy from a family named 'Greenjeans' but that was later cleared up, and 'Mr Greenjeans went on to become a great spiritual master in his own right.I humbly asked Master ClaraBell III what the secret of life was, and he gave me a profound answer in the form of a koan that he honked on his horn. That was the moment where I knew I had to follow a spiritual path.Dov

I attended a "live" [radio] broadcast of the Buster Brown show. And YES, Froggy did plunk his magic twanger!http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buster_Brownsunraya man with a long memory
Wow .. I'm amazed.I somehow always get the picture that everyone around here is young and runnin around madly with no awareness whatsoever of anything like "Plunk your magic twanger froggy"That was more my older brother's show but I do CLEARLY rememberit. There was something almost sort of spookily subversive about those early show. Sort of 'dark'(psychologically) and private .. like the old weird guys were gettin to us whilethe parents were busy ironing and folding clothes and preparingdinner. WE had quite a few local guys with their weird localshows too .. I wonder if every major city had their local guys as well. http://www.fiftiesweb.com/tv/andys-gang-1.jpg
