I'm new on the board so please bear with me. I'll be recieving a large some money in the spring 2002. I would like to invest it into something that will give me a quarterly dividend that would help supplement our income after we retire in five years. I would also like to see this money grow (long term)..but have it accessible in case of any emergencies. I've been reading about "federally guaranteed mortgage securities"
Are there any suggestions or thoughts on this? ..Thank you
