...with regard to Libya. She's saying her BS appearances on the Sunday talk shows were based on bad information.Wow. Talk about stupid. She's motivating these guys in a very negative way:http://thecable.foreignpolicy.com/posts/2012/10/05/rice_on_b... U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice told Republican senators that her televised statements last month on the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi were based entirely on information she was given by the intelligence community."In my Sept. 16 Sunday show appearances, I was asked to provide the administration's latest understanding of what happened in Benghazi," Rice wrote in a Thursday letter to Sens. John McCain (R-AZ), Ron Johnson (R-WI) and Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), and Lindsey Graham (R-SC). "In answering, I relied solely and squarely on the information the intelligence community provided to me and other senior U.S. officials, including through the daily intelligence briefings that present the latest reporting and analysis to policy makers. This information represented the intelligence community's best, current assessment as of the date of my television appearances, and I went out of my way to ensure it was consistent with the information that was being given to Congress." Ooof. There are going to be some extremely livid intel officers over this one. Especially in light of the fact that Stevens wrote a cable the same day he was murdered warning of attacks:http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2012/10/security-team-c...U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens wanted a Security Support Team, made up of 16 special operations soldiers, to stay with him in Libya after their deployment was scheduled to end in August, the commander of that security team told ABC News. The embassy staff’s “first choice was for us to stay,” Lt. Col. Andrew Wood, 55, told ABC News in an interview. “That would have been the choice of the embassy people in Tripoli.”But a senior State Department official told ABC News that the embassy’s Regional Security Officer never specifically requested that the SST’s tour be extended past August, and the official maintained there was no net loss of security personnel. The Regional Security Officer “asked for a number of U.S. shooters because of the pending SST redeployment and he was at that number,” said the senior State Department official, who asked not to be identified because of the ongoing internal investigation. The State Department issued a statement Monday, saying, “The SST was enlisted to support the re-opening of Embassy Tripoli, to help ensure we had the security necessary as our diplomatic presence grew. They were based in Tripoli and operated almost exclusively there. When their rotation in Libya ended, Diplomatic Security Special Agents were deployed and maintained a constant level of security capability. So their departure had no impact whatsoever on the total number of fully trained American security personnel in Libya generally, or in Benghazi specifically.”Except that we know there really weren't any US personnel on the ground in Benghazi. This is getting worse and worse for Obama and Hillary!. He's going to have to toss somebody under the bus.
This is getting worse and worse for Obama and Hillary!. He's going to have to toss somebody under the bus. ________________________________I think at the next debate Romney should just promise Obama free gold and the use of AF2 and Obama would throw himself under the bus. He doesn't really seem like he wants to actually be President. Just promise him the perks and guarantee Michelle and the kids good vacations and lots of diplomatic privileges and I think he would go for it. It is not like you have to deliver, you just tell him words, just words and blame it on the Obama Presidency he should understand that.
I'm sure the intel community has oodles of dirt on Obama, both personal and professional. It isn't wise to motivate these guys to slide that sort of stuff to the other side.
U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice told Republican senators that her televised statements last month on the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi were based entirely on information she was given by the intelligence community....she has learned from her leader - blame somebody else.
From what I've heard, the Federal Intel consolidated centers' production are a clusterF!And Clinton's Diversion of NCA taskings pales in comparison.
Rice: This information represented the intelligence community's best, current assessment as of the date of my television appearances, and I went out of my way to ensure it was consistent with the information that was being given to Congress." Some Dope: Ooof. There are going to be some extremely livid intel officers over this one. Why? It's often the case that early intelligence info is off or mistaken. Nobody knows that better than the intelligence community.I understand why you're like to spin this up into something, but you're reaching.
