switched careers snip I decided to go back and get my IT certifications

That sounds like a nice change of pace.

It's pretty much same old, same old here. I have the same job, but it's gotten more challenging, and things have changed enough to keep it fresh.

I moved last fall, from an old house in the city in a very urban neighborhood, to a newer house in the suburbs. It's a big change. I love the house, and the neighborhood is great. I miss being in the city, and already I've noticed a reluctance to attend work things downtown in the evenings. I don't miss the school shootings, and the grafitti, and all the petty crime of the city.
