HiI am not sure if this is a forgotten board area...I wanted to find out what people think about TAH.TO It's a Canadian firm that is in the diamonds business and is going to start commercial production in April 2006. Their mining projects are in Nunavut.I am not sure what the exact rules are for SEC regulations, etc. but to keep it brief, the reason why I got into this stock is because of rumours (there has been an article in the Globe and Mail about it as well) that this stock will skyrocket once the first commercial sale as made (which is when they can disclose how much the diamonds are worth). There are also rumours about discovering a "pink" diamond. Anyway to make sure I am not going in based on just stories, I decided to investigate the company financials before I pour the rest of my live savings into it. Let me know if anyone else finds this stock just as exciting, and/or if you already hold this company, or basically anything else. Thanks.
I don't know anything about this company, but you might consider also asking your question on these boards:Canada (General):http://boards.fool.com/Messages.asp?bid=100170Canada - Microcaps:http://boards.fool.com/Messages.asp?bid=100181Foreign Investments: http://boards.fool.com/Messages.asp?bid=100048International Investing Discussion Boards:http://boards.fool.com/Boards.asp?fid=10006&bid=117664Toronto Stock Exchange Web Site:http://tsx.com/TAH.TO at Toronto Stock Exchange:http://tsx.com/HttpController?GetPage=QuotesViewPage&SelectedSymbol=TAH&RowNumber=1&DetailedView=DetailedPrices&Market=T&QuoteSymbol_1=TAH&QuoteSymbol_2=&QuoteSymbol_3=&QuoteSymbol_4=&QuoteSymbol_5=&QuoteSymbol_6=&QuoteSymbol_7=&QuoteSymbol_8=&QuoteSymbol_9=&QuoteSymbol_10=&QuoteSymbol_11=&QuoteSymbol_12=&Language=enOn Yahoo! Finance there is literally no information on the company, do you have access to the financials someplace? Look through past annual reports, see how the company is improving sales, expanding, how management is doing, and see how exploration is going. If this looks good, then maybe open a small position if you think it is a worthwhile risk. If you can get in touch with Philip Durell (TMFAdmiral), he might be able to help you because he is from Canada and does have some interest in Canadian companies. Here is his profile: http://boards.fool.com/Profile.asp?uid=35610062.Philip is the head analyst for Inside Value, I'd go for a 30 day free trial and ask some questions on the Inside Value Discussion Boards. Cool, thanks for that post :))"On Yahoo! Finance there is literally no information on the company, do you have access to the financials someplace?"- You are right, Yahoo finance doesn't have much on it. I got their annual report from a buddy, and I went on their website and found a few links on there as well.http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=TAH.TOhttp://www.tahera.com"If this looks good, then maybe open a small position if you think it is a worthwhile risk.'- Yea I am definately not putting everything in it just yet. I am going slow right now, I only put 1/3 of my money into it (which isn't very much either considering that I just came out of Univ.).Let see I am hoping it can skyrocket :) Anyway, thanks again for your post, and I will try to get in touch with Philip Durell.
