Take a big bag of them the next time you're going through a toll booth and pay for the person behind you, just for giggles. You might make their day for about a buck.

Or stuff some in some parking meters that are about to result in a ticket for someone. Give them to kids at the planetarium where they have the swirly donation thing. Just some ideaa.


Technically, we have three containers of change at the moment.

But two of them contain only quarters. A certain size of prescription bottle is just big enough that $10 in quarters will put the last quarter overlapping the top edge of the bottle. Then the cap screws on. This is particularly useful for the occasional trip to a laundromat - most of the time we do laundry in the motorhome, but if we have accumulated a lot of laundry or it's time to wash blankets then we need a bigger machine.

The other one contains pretty much everything except quarters.
