Tampopo. (Japan) Warning: Do not watch this movie on an empty stomach. You will be ravenously hungry within, oh, three minutes, especially after the young truck driver details his meeting with the ramen sensai.

King of Hearts. (France) And I usually dislike movies that make light of mental illness.

Diva. (France) Wow, wow, and wow. DO NOT get the dubbed version. Dubbed versions are instruments of the Antichrist.

In The Mood For Love. (China) Sweet, sad, very romantic in a despairing sort of way.

The Leningrad Cowboys. (USSR/USA) Damn! This is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, period!

The Taxing Woman's Return. (Japan) The same cast from Tampopo, really a clever film.

Uhura :o)
