Back in 1992, I purchased several thousand dollars worth of , here is the exact name, New Jersey Turnpike Authority Revenue Garden State Savings Bonds, Series 1992 B, due January 1, 2002, through Prudential Securities. As I had no other investments, Pru was charging me $50.00 a year for holding the certificate. I finally had the certificate delivered to me and it's been in the safe deposit box ever since. My questions are, "How do I know if these bonds have been "called", how much are they currently worth?, and how do I redeem them either now, or at maturity? I hope this isn't too long winded, and thanks for any help!
