David and Tom:

What are your thoughts on the very interesting article in Robert Novak's column in the Washington Post today--Tax-Time Crash.

Novak quotes Jude Wanniski, a well-known, economist, as stating the reason for this last correction is taxes. In other words, the stock sell off on Monday was caused by all the individual investors filling out their 1040s over the weekend and realizing that they owe Uncle Sam a huge tax bill.

I really believe that Jude Wannisk may have pointed out the problem here.
