bear with me, I'm no expert on corporate tax.

I have a friend who works for a LLC. The partners of the firm have health benefits, but the employees (W2) do not. Is this legal?

If, for instance, I were to offer my employees health benefits and paid a portion of the premium. Is it a tax write off for my corporation (C or S). Is an LLC exempt from this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
