Teach philosophy! I had a feeling... where?

Anyway, I was reared as a Baptist, so any contradiction to the church of Rome was studied in some detail (we had to make up for lost time in biology:). My memory of Gassendi is rather tenuous. We talked less about him than Luther, but what I remember is his support of Galileo. The Epicureans are a little fuzzy. These days, he's more appealing to me for his stance against Aristotle.

Philosophy is more of a hobby for me, as is ethics, theology and Logic. Currently I'm a TA at UT for a Psychology of Language class. I'll probably do most of my work in hearing.
