I am looking for maps showing the techtonic plates that come together in the Middle East. Does anyone know where I might find these?

I once had a college professor who would start every course involving the history of the Holy Land with a description of the geology of that region. She made a case that the geology determined the geography and the geography to a great degree determined the history of the region.

She described how the different plates came together and did different things on different plate boundaries. It was all fascinating to me and in later years, when I wanted to share this with others, I tried to find maps that would show the plates. The idea that geology begets geography and geography begets history gave a whole new slant to something being determined "from the foundations of the Earth".
