I am looking into purchasing Life Insurance for myself and my wife.

I am 35yrs of age, wife is 33yrs of age. We just had two baby boys (7 mos old).

My mortgage has $250K left to go, so I would hope to pay of the mortgage and have money left over for kids college, wife, etc.

Here is what I am looking at:

20 year Term guaranteed life insurance for 750K:
appox cost: $550/year

OR

30 year Term guaranteed life insurance for 750K
approx cost: $980

Well you can see the cost rises dramatically for the extra 10 years.

Being that I am 35, what length of term would be suggested?

Any advice?
