Thank you for your calming post. As of yesterday my 10yr bond is at 42¢ on the dollar and the 5 yr bond is at 24.5¢ on the dollar. I think I am forced to wait this out for a while. I panicked when I read so many opinions that the company would opt to go bankrupt as the best way out of their money problems. Listening to their conference call, they have enough to pay debt obligations thru 2003 if I understood correctly.

Although I realize that there are no guarantees with corporate bonds, I thought (incorrectly) they would be relatively safe compared to what is going on in the equity markets. Now I feel like I'm waiting for the next brick to fall on my head<g>.
