Thank you for your prompt reply. I tried it, and it worked well, but what I am looking for seems conceptually a lot simpler. I would like to take an Excel spreadsheet with a column of stock symbols, then use that as a key to fill in the appropriate data for each row with a stock symbol. Not higher math, just things like stock price, EPS, market cap, dividends, price/book, and some other basic data on the stock. I can configure it to give me the calculated values like yield, payout ratio, etc. Do you, or anyone else, know of such an add-in.I use the spreadsheet to sort through about 100 securities that I might consider buying; once I reduce it a managealbe number, I can get more detailed analysis and reports.
