Don't suppose that anyone who hasn't "been there"...lost a love that we thought would always be there..can quite understand what these feelings are all about.'Tis true that with the passage of time...for me it's been seven years now...we can once again wake up smiling and even go for hours or the better part of a day without our thoughts returning to the one around whom we'd built our lives, realized our hopes and dreams, gone through the good times and even the bad...indeed knowing that we'd truly go through the worst of the bad again, just to have them back.Friends and family help it to be a tad more bearable during those first few awful years after loss. After that, we regain faith in ourselves for being responsible for our happiness...all the while missing that which has slipped away...but knowing we can and will go on, even be happy, sometimes ecstatically so, again.I wish you growing contentment on your journey, and hope that we can all bring strength and support to one another.Abba
