Thank you so much for all the info. My DH left the company about 13 years ago. He was told at that time how much of a pension he could expect at the age of 65. I should mention that the company is a foreign bank with offices here in the US and that this company has merged several times since DH left their employ. The same person he spoke to 13 years ago is the very same person he contacted when he turned 65.
I googled this company many times and they are not doing well financially but DH says that the pension plans here in the US are protected. We can only hope.
