I just wanted to thank all of the people who helped me out with my Math problems (see post http://boards.fool.com/Message.asp?id=1040018006731000&sort=collapsed) I have to say that most of it was over my head :) , but all of it was sincerely appreciated.

I just read a post about the LBYM Board being too judgmental and I wanted to say that the help I received was wonderful. I've been lurking shamefacedly for a year or so, having managed to mess up my first and only reply to a post about three months ago. I'm sure if my math skills weren't atrocious, I would have continued lurking. Frankly, I figured that with my admission of poor math skills, and obvious mistake, that someone would jump all over me. (Who knew you couldn't just add 5 % to your total and viola! figure the interest out?) I'm really happy to say that no one did. I got a gentle, helpful, and cheerful responses. So thank you, bksward, mlk58, runningfoolrich, funolife, WonderPup, and SeattlePioneer for all of your efforts on the behalf of a poor, but suddenly more Foolish, math-o-phobe.
