Fair warning. My son is coming out to your country in June to do his graduate work. I think he will be at Portland State. Probably a couple years. I thought I may encourage him to try his hand at fly fishing while he is out there. Other than a very few streams here in Iowa, we do not have too much available in this part of the country for it. Any thoughts on what may be available for a greenhorn to get a taste of your preferred sport without incurring an exorbitant amount of expense. I must admit I am afraid if he enjoys himself too much out there that they will not be coming back to the midwest.
