Thanks for the additions. GM and Ford (possibly other big companies) have things similar to GE Interest Plus, but since the interest rate is *LOWER* than that of the FDIC-insured Internet banks, why would anyone send them money?

[Well, if you have $50,000, you might be able to get a better rate out of them.]

In addition to ABFS "investment notes", Advanta offers pretty much the same thing, but only in a dozen or so states.
