Thanks for the book recommendations, I'll see if I can get them from the library.

I hope your blood sugar is lower in March. It's nice to find someone else that is addressing the issue. One of my real life friends is ignoring it, and it seems like most of the people on Spark People ignored it, too. There's a 50% chance of reversing it -- why not try and make some necessary lifestyle changes?

The eating part isn't so hard any more (ask me in 3 months, lol), I am really learning not to use food as a comfort, I eat to sustain myself, not really for pleasure. That's a HUGE change.

The exercise is challenging. I've been using the Wii Fit when it's too hard to go the gym, and I go the gym and use the elliptical about 3x a week. I also got a Lesly Sansone (sp?) walking video, which I haven't yet opened, and I have exercise on demand from Comcast.

Basically I look at the exercise as medicine I have to take. Right now I'm in a mode where I don't hate it. That's a start.
